Position SummaryWe’re currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Retail Strategy to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role will provide modeling and analytical support on a range of activities and high-profile projects for Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO). The role involves data gathering, model building and maintenance, as well as coordination across various stakeholders—requiring strong focus on accuracy, continuous improvement, and high-quality results.
ResponsibilitiesOversee strategic initiative business cases, partnering with business unit leadership and senior finance team to develop metrics and KPIs to track project performance and value creation.
Develop test vs. control financial analysis of strategic initiatives to evaluate the profitability and effectiveness of various pilot ideas.
Oversee the financial controllership functions of a startup incubator organization going through an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and POS (Point of Sales) system transformation.
Continuously seek to simplify finance processes using technology and systems.
Perform detailed financial analysis though development of robust financial models, while ensuring complete data integrity.
Supports and/or leads highly visible special projects for the CFO/COO on an ad hoc basis.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university; Master’s Degree preferred.
3+ years of progressive Finance experience in a performance-oriented environment.
Prior experience presenting to leadership team.
Prior experience in developing finance systems/driving finance system improvements
Experience in financial modeling, FP&A, Controllership, audit, and internal control improvement is a plus
Self-starter with intellectual curiosity.
