Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst, Global T&E – Travel Planning Support plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and policy-compliant travel experience for Versant employees. This role supports the day-to-day travel operations in coordination with Versant’s Travel Management Company (TMC), and serves as a go-to resource for traveller support, pre-trip planning, vendor coordination, and travel policy adherence. The analyst will also support global travel program initiatives and reporting across air, hotel, and ground transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
Act as the first point of contact for travel-related inquiries from employees, including bookings, changes, cancellations, policy questions, and preferred vendor usageCoordinate closely with the TMC to manage daily booking activities, resolve issues, and improve service deliverySupport the onboarding of new travelers and ensure traveler profiles are accurately maintained in booking systemsAssist in supporting travel for business-critical events, conferences, and executive travelHelp administer and reconcile Central Travel Account (CTA) card activity related to airline and hotel bookingsCollaborate with HR, Sourcing, and business teams to ensure travel needs are aligned with company policy and negotiated vendor programsMaintain and update travel SOPs and traveler-facing guidance (FAQs, quick guides, etc.)Standards and Controls
Enforce company travel policy by monitoring booking behavior, escalating exceptions, and tracking non-compliant spendMonitor unused ticket credits and ensure timely application to reduce wastePartner with the TMC to ensure data integrity in travel bookings and employee profilesAssist in audit prep and documentation related to business travel and policy adherencPerformance
Monitor key metrics such as advance booking rates, out-of-policy bookings, vendor compliance, and missed savingsPrepare travel program reports and dashboards to support Finance, Sourcing, and Leadership reviewsIdentify opportunities to improve the traveler experience while supporting cost containment and policy adherencePeople
Provide training, onboarding, and support for new employees or executives unfamiliar with corporate travel toolsAct as a liaison between employees and the TMC to ensure questions and escalations are handled promptlySupport change management efforts related to travel policy updates, vendor transitions, or system enhancementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Travel Planning, or related areas (media or multinational experience a plus)Familiarity with Concur Travel and Expense, and experience working with TMCs (e.g., BCD Travel) highly preferredDesired Characteristics:
