Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst, Global T&E – Commercial Card Support will support the operational delivery and optimization of Versant’s global commercial card programs. This includes travel cards, p-cards, CTA cards, and virtual cards.  The role will also ensure that employees are supported through an efficient, policy-compliant travel and expense process.  The role will work closely with commercial card bank provider, business stakeholders, and shared services to support card issuance, compliance, issue resolution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery

Support day-to-day operations of global commercial card programs (e.g., travel cards, P-cards, virtual cards, CTA accounts), including card issuance, account maintenance, and cancellationsAssist in liaising with CitiBank and other commercial card vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely service deliveryRespond to employee inquiries related to card transactions, limits, policy exceptions, and card misuseMaintain and update SOPs and user documentation related to commercial card operationsCollaborate with Finance Ops and IT to support integration with SAP and ConcurTrack and reconcile rebate opportunities, support reporting needs, and help prepare data for management reporting

Standards and Controls

Enforce compliance with Commercial Card and Procurement Card policiesIdentify, document, and escalate potential policy violations, fraud, or misuseMaintain internal controls related to card issuance, spending limits, and reconciliation processesUpdate and apply all Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) related to commercial card programs and reporting.Support audit preparation by gathering supporting documentation for card transactions and controls testing

Performance

Monitor and track KPIs such as card utilization, employee inquiries, exception trends, and processing timesAssist in preparing vendor performance metrics and quarterly business reviewsIdentify opportunities for automation, simplification, or policy alignment in the card support process

People

Provide training and guidance to cardholders on policy requirements and process updatesCollaborate with shared services and BPO teams involved in card administrationSupport communication and rollout plans related to card program enhancements or system changes

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Travel & Expense, or related areas (media or multinational experience a plus)Familiarity with internal controls, audit compliance, and reimbursement processesStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail, ability to prioritize, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment

Desired Characteristics:

Working knowledge of Concur, SAP, and commercial card or travel management systems is preferred
