As a senior financial analyst on the finance flex team you will engage in rotational assignments throughout the organization, creating an opportunity to expand breadth of experience and exposure at Starbucks. Your home team will be North America Finance where you will focus on networking, mentoring relationships and professional development. You will be engaged with a variety of teams as organizational needs arise that fit your developmental goals, ramping quickly on teams, and making an impact throughout your rotation. As a part of this dynamic team, you will have additional leadership visibility and engagement with rotational team peers, flex team peers and partners on home team and across the FP&A organization.
• Complete variety of rotations throughout the organization as an engaged and active team member
• Ramp rapidly on subject matter in each rotation and focus on process improvements
• Develop cross functional relationships and build trust quickly with team members in each rotation
• Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive decisions as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
We’d love to hear from people with:
• Financial Analysis experience (5 years)
• Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of US military experience
• 5 or more years of experience in a role performing financial analysis job functions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting
• 2 or more years of experience in a role using electronic financial modeling skills
• 3 or more years of experience in a role presenting financial analysis and recommendations to a business unit leader
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Advanced financial modeling skills
• Working knowledge of financial and management accounting principles

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
