Key job responsibilities
Amazon seeks an experienced Financial Analyst to play a key role on our Amazon Devices Finance team.

Job responsibilities include:

• Lead a quarterly and yearly forecasting process by working closely with various different business partners
• Demonstrate a willingness to understand how business partners manage their business to identify their goals and drivers to forecast effectively.
• Be an integral part of the monthly financial close process by performing variance analysis and providing relevant insights to senior management. Investigate variances to understand trends, potential risks and opportunities and adjust the forecast.
• Collaborate with business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives.
• Actively participate in Finance initiatives, including but not limited to process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and preparation of periodic reporting activities.

The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong data gathering and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role also has regular interaction with various business owners and finance across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
