Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills, audit rigor, and a deep understanding of accounting processes to take a lead role in the Record to Report Flex Process. This role involves the end-to-end review of Flex contracts, preparation of flex balance sheet reconciliation and SOX controls to ensure accurate financial accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong audit mindset, technical accounting expertise, and exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work across departments, lead issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement.

What you will do:Lead the review and interpretation of Flex contracts to understand key terms, assumptions, obligations, and stipulationsPerform in-depth analysis of how Flex deals were structured and processed operationally and financially; assess appropriateness of accounting treatmentVerify accounting records against contract terms and ensure alignment with relevant accounting principles and company policiesApply audit-level scrutiny to identify inconsistencies, misinterpretations, or processing errors; drive investigations and determine necessary accounting correctionsPerform flex balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policiesPrepare SOX controls for Flex RTR processCollaborate cross-functionally with project teams, finance, operations, and legal to resolve issues, clarify contract interpretations, and support decision-makingTake ownership of issue tracking and follow-up processes to ensure timely closure of findings and proper documentationDevelop and enhance reporting and analysis using advanced Excel techniques and Power BI dashboards; provide insights to senior stakeholdersSupport internal and external audits by providing robust documentation and analysis related to Flex contracts and related accounting treatmentContribute to process improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and control design to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Flex processMentor and provide guidance to junior team members as needed

What you need

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldFluent spoken and written English2-4 years of accounting or audit experience, ideally with exposure to contract-driven accounting or project-based environmentsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to interpret and translate contract terms into accounting impactStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes; familiarity with revenue recognition and financial controlsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with Power BI is a strong advantage
