A leading and rapidly expanding manufacturing and distribution group in Leicester is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their knowledgeable finance team. Role remit:

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts that provide valuable insights for decision-making across the business. Conduct detailed control account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all financial records are maintained with precision and integrity. Manage accruals and prepayments processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and reflect true business activity. Maintain robust inventory controls and oversee accurate valuation procedures to support effective stock management. Oversee the fixed assets register, including associated reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Role Profile:

ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with a practice trained background, looking to make their 2nd move in industry. Possess a background in Practice training complemented by 1-3 years’ experience within industry settings for well-rounded expertise. Experience within import/export or international supply chains would be advantageous for understanding global business operations. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of both profit & loss (P&L) statements and balance sheet accounting for comprehensive financial oversight. Exhibit excellent attention to detail alongside a problem-solving mindset that enables you to identify discrepancies quickly and propose effective solutions. Display confident communication skills that allow you to present complex financial data clearly to senior stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
