Are you a qualified accountant looking to step into a high-impact role within a dynamic international finance environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our International Financial Accounting team at our Group Finance function in Enderby, Leicester.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial reporting and control framework across our growing portfolio of international businesses. This is your chance to make your mark at a FTSE 100-listed organisation 

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the International Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting, including journal postings and financial packs

  Supporting the set-up of new international business operations by developing robust processes and controls

  Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts for global entities (Germany, Dubai, India, USA)

  Collaborating with external auditors and advisors during audits

  Working with commercial and operational teams to ensure timely, accurate financial data

  Mentoring and overseeing the work of a Junior Financial Accountant

 

This is a hands-on, varied role that gives you exposure to international operations, half-year and year-end reporting, and the opportunity to shape a growing team.

 

About you:

What We’re Looking For

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  Strong experience in financial statement preparation and monthly reporting

  Proven ability to develop, improve, and challenge financial processes and controls

  Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines

  Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across multiple teams

  Adaptable and driven – you thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace change
