Senior Finance Partner to Production

The position
As Senior Finance Partner, you will be responsible for business and financial controlling, budgeting, and accounting, as well as various analysis tasks. Your focus will also be on driving process optimisation within production economy and strengthening our internal financial analysis. 

 

You will work in close collaboration with the line of business, Novo Nordisk HQ, and colleagues in the finance team. You will ensure that we deliver best-in-class compliance within primarily production accounting, amongst other related areas.

 

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Participating in preparing budget forecasts related to inventory and production Supporting monthly closing activities and reporting to NNPR A/S management, the Board of Directors, and Novo Nordisk A/S Developing further the internal financial reporting in NNPR related to inventory and production economy, along with driving process optimisation Assisting with annual closing of books, including audit of inventory and production economy Providing analysis for product related business cases or scenarios as needed, as well as participating in various finance-related projects Collaborating with senior stakeholders in NNPR and Novo Nordisk, serving as a sparring partner to Head of Finance and CFO including ad-hoc analysis

 

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we imagine you:

Hold a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Bring 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a production economy environment Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, coupled with a process optimisation mindset Have a natural ability to translate complex topics in a clear, concise, and easy to understand manner Communicate fluently in both spoken and written English

 

It would be considered as a very strong advantage if you have experience working in SAP.

 

As a person you are self-motivated, proactive, and can work independently as well as flexible. You are service minded, bring a positive can-do attitude, and thrive in a busy environment. You have a solid understanding of accounting and financial compliance and at the same time are pragmatic and structured in your approach to work. Finally, you have strong analytical skills and can communicate complex subjects to all parts of the organisation, bridging professional and cultural distances with ease.

 

About the department
You get the opportunity to join a highly engaged and dedicated Finance team of 11. The team’s responsibilities reflect Accounting, Financial compliance, Tax, TP, as well as FP&A, management reporting and P2P. All this is done in close collaboration with line of business to bring high quality financial insights to support decision making in the business.
