What you’ll do

Senior Finance Manager accountable for Total Vodafone Business financial performance to support growth and profitability, through leading important processes including but not limited to; Target setting, Detailed Budget/Long Range Planning, Rolling forecasts, Month end – under a complex and multi-location matrix environment
Financial advisor to VB Germany and Cluster Director through business partnering with local markets
FP&A Business partner for VB Central Functions incl. Vodafone Business Internationals and Group Managed P&S

Accountable for the delivery of high quality, robust Financial Reporting and Budget/ Long Range Plan for Total Vodafone BusinessLead Targets Setting process for Vodafone Business (by market and by product) in accordance with strategic roadmap, and including alignment with Local markets, Regional Finance, Group FP&A, VBLT Support dedicated business areas/ local markets in delivering the targets and outperforming the competition by providing insightful decision support and analysis.Lead the review process with early identification of risks (financial and operational) and communication of key issues. Propose and prompt corrective actions, monitor and report on the implementation planPrepare key reporting for strategic reporting proposals and presentations including but not limited to Business Decision Board, ExCo and VBLT. Communicate key financial messages to stakeholders with clarity and consistency.Being a member of VB Cluster LT, support VB Germany and Cluster Director and their team to deliver results, through insightful analysis, benchmarking, dedicated business partnering and thought leadershipLead the Group VB Central Functions FP&A areas for: Vodafone Business Internationals (located in US and Singapore) and Group Managed Products and ServicesDrive simplification and standardization across Total VB planning and performance management processBeing the transformation and change agent, in collaboration with Finance Transformation manager, to ensure the necessary reporting/planning changes have been adopted/implemented across the organization (Group and Local) following the agreement on finance transformation deliverables (e.g. target setting, external announcements)Build strong information flows and working relationships with key stakeholder groups including Local OpCo finance and VB teams, VB Finance leadership team, VB ELT, Group FP&A, Regional Finance teams, Group D&A and Group IRInfluence VB CEO & CFO on key strategic actions/ next steps providing thought leadership and recommendationsWho you are ACA/CIMA/ACCA/MBA or local market equivalent with 10+years PQEVery strong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam management experienceLocal OpCo / market experienceExperience of driving change, implementing complex projects that improve business results   Significant level of post qualified experience across a wide range of financial disciplines (FP&A, business partnering, operational, commercial) working in a multi-functional and complex matrix environmentExtensive knowledge of Group and local market processes and systems covering operational, commercial and financial aspectsEngaging, intellectually curious, challenges existing thinking to initiate and embrace new ways of working. Proven ability to work collaboratively across UK and overseas markets and to see the bigger picture.Knowledge of key accounting principles/standards (IFRS) and how to apply them in a practical, commercial environmentExperience on leading/being part of finance transformation programmes is an assetOpCo experience is preferredNot a perfect fit?
