What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking for a Finance professional to join us as our Senior Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, you will take ownership of financial responsibilities for our government clients while driving operational excellence and process improvements. You will be involved in client engagement and lead financial discussions with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be required to be based in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne with ability to attend the office meetings and client engagement in-person.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client financial engagement - Represent JLL Finance in all client meetings and stakeholder discussions, driving financial conversations and relationship managementDevelop management reporting systems - Enhance JLL's reporting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities to meet evolving business requirementsDeliver comprehensive financial reporting - Prepare monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis, and specialized reporting including Indigenous and SME requirements as per contract specificationsSupport JLL Corporate functions - Manage invoicing of management fees and additional services while tracking fee generation activities across relationship directors, leasing, facilities and ESS teamsOversee Finance Transactions Team - Coordinate team activities, implement robust checks and balances, and track key performance indicators to ensure operational excellenceManage property financial transactions - Administer all financial aspects of leases, property acquisitions and divestments, including funding requests and expenditure paymentsMaintain financial systems integrity - Ensure all financial systems accurately reflect client transactions in accordance with JLL accounting guidelines and contractual requirementsDrive process improvement - Develop, implement and maintain financial procedures and management systems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the wider JLL businessKey Skills & Requirements
Australian citizenship with ability to obtain and hold AGSVA Clearance and additional entity clearancesBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline with formal finance qualifications (CA or CPA preferred)At least 5 years in a similar finance management role with demonstrated experience leading finance and accounting teamsStrong background in financial and commercial governance with property industry experience highly valuedAdvanced interpersonal abilities to manage diverse client representatives and explain financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiencesCapacity for strategic thinking, innovation, and managing complex, ambiguous situationsAdvanced Excel, analytical, and reporting skills with ability to manage multiple complex deliverables simultaneouslyExcellent written and oral communication skills with commitment to delivering high-level customer service and JLL's shared valuesWhat you can expect from us:
