Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Capital & Investments to join our team in Nashville, TN.

This role will be responsible for: The Sr. Finance Manager, Capital & Investments will provide support across the enterprise in capital allocation management, KPI tracking, M&A/divestitures/shaping portfolio, financial planning, and project management. This position works with business unit leadership and the senior Finance team to develop and support actions that enhance the Company's growth opportunities and ensure long-term sustainable competitive advantage for Bridgestone and its business units.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight on all major capital projects within the Service & Solutions space, overseeing these investments from start to finish and serving as the primary point of contact with BSJ counterparts

Manage the day-to-day responsibilities and long-term development of a direct report on the Capital Planning & Investments team

Partner with FP&A and the business units in monitoring upcoming major investments and preparing the annual capital budget OB / MBP formulation

Partner with execution teams to develop comprehensive presentation materials that will be used to gain approval from the GCEO and GIEM for all major strategic investments

Partner with execution teams to assess variances between actual and expected results for KPIs, provide recommendations, alerts management to necessary course corrections

Complete detailed reviews and stress tests of financial models for major investments to ensure operating assumptions are reasonable and that financial returns are accurate

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field with 7+ years of progressive Finance experience operating in a performance / results-oriented culture

Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present recommendations and summarize complex issues

Thinks strategically, possesses strong analytical capability, and has solid business acumen

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills required

Self-starter with intellectual curiosity

Experience leading large, complex business objectives with measurable results
