What You'll Do:
As a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, shaping the financial strategy for Lubrizol Additives (LZA) and serving as a key advisor to the Lubrizol Additives Leadership Team (ALT). In this high-impact role, you’ll lead critical planning and analysis initiatives that influence major business decisions, drive profitability, and support long-term growth. You'll collaborate with a global network of passionate professionals, leveraging data and insights to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. Develop and execute financial strategies that align with LZA’s business objectives. Serve as a strategic business partner to the LZA CFO and Additives Leadership Team. Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for executive leadership. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations. Consolidate and deliver monthly business decision week (BDW) materials for the Lubrizol Executive Leadership Team. Support monthly close process and lead the development of executive-level business review packages. Drive the annual budgeting process, including timeline management and tool development. Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial targets. Prepare weekly updates on key financial metrics, highlighting risks and opportunities. Monitor and evaluate financial performance across LZA divisions and business units. Lead special projects such as M&A, margin enrichment, product line optimization, and working capital improvements. Benchmark performance against industry peers and competitors to inform strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with internal controls and US GAAP standards. Collaborate with corporate finance and cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and reporting processes
Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and influence executive decision-making. Proficiency in ERP (SAP preferred), financial software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, BOBJ). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
