What this job involves:

As a Senior Finance Executive at JLL, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient management of the entire purchase-to-pay (P2P) process for our clients and internal stakeholders. This critical financial role requires meticulous attention to detail as you track expenditures, validate invoices, process payments, and maintain comprehensive financial records. Your expertise will directly contribute to JLL's financial integrity and operational excellence by ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your accounting knowledge while developing specialized expertise in real estate finance operations within a collaborative global organization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Process and track purchase orders, invoices, and payments while maintaining detailed historical records for audit complianceValidate invoices against established criteria, resolve payment holds, and ensure proper chart of accounts (COA) codingPrepare monthly accruals/provisions and reconcile general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual expensesGenerate creditors aging reports and perform vendor reconciliations, including balance confirmations and NDC documentationCollect and compile financial information from internal stakeholders for monthly reporting requirementsTrack payments through Oracle systems and provide timely updates to respective stakeholdersContribute to month-end closing processes and assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field; M.Com or MBA in Finance preferredMinimum 4+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting rolesStrong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reportingDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to identify discrepanciesExcellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with positive attitude and ability to work under pressure when required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the real estate industry or property managementProficiency with Oracle AP and Oracle AR systemsKnowledge of financial controls and audit requirementsExperience with vendor management and payment reconciliation processesUnderstanding of budget preparation and variance analysisExperience with accrual accounting and month-end closing proceduresStrong communication skills for effective stakeholder interactions
