Your expertise in cash and accrual accounting will help ensure our clients receive timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports that support their business goals. **What You’ll Do:** + Complete intermediate to advanced-level financial tasks in preparation for client financial statement packages, including budgeting and forecasting. + Review and post journal entries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted. + Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting. Prepare packages on a schedule to ensure timely delivery to the client and other management teams. + Respond to and resolve complex issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports. + Recognize potential issues and conflicts and take corrective action to minimize issues. + Facilitate the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. + Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **What You’ll Need:** + The successful candidate will be required to attain and maintain a valid and active RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC). Please note, a condition for attaining an Enhanced Reliability Security (ERS) clearance includes the condition that applicants must have lived in Canada a minimum of five years to apply for ERS. + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. The salary range being offered for the Senior Finance Analystposition is between $81,000 annually and $90,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
