Senior Field Service Representative

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Field Service Representative** to join our vehicle sustainment team in **Cairo, Egypt** . The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Provide technical support for complex U.S. military ground systems, including planning, directing, coordinating, and managing maintenance operations for assigned Technical Direction Letter (TDL) organizations.
+ Perform system troubleshooting, engineering analysis, design, installation, maintenance, and repair of U.S. military vehicle systems and subsystems to the component level.
+ Effectively apply industry or military-standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.
+ Retain and manage technical knowledge databases via the TDL SharePoint site for use by assigned maintenance managers; maintain and monitor the Special Operations Forces Sustainment and Asset Visibility Information Exchange (SSAVIE) account to manage repair part status and reporting.
+ Support lifecycle management efforts, including proactive scheduled maintenance, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) tracking, and verification of technical changes.
+ Assist Maintenance Managers with diagnostic software tools, licensing, renewals, and technical data analysis; coordinate with Quality Assurance Leads to resolve information gaps, manage high-priority requisitions, and support fielding operations.
+ Travel on demand to support vehicle sustainment and mission requirements in the region.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 12+ years of relevant hands-on experience supporting complex mechanical, electrical, or vehicle systems.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and welding equipment; experience in the technical support and sustainment of U.S. military ground systems.
+ Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty components in complex mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Background working with light and heavy-duty trucks, tactical vehicles, generators, power plants, aircraft, or other gasoline/diesel-powered systems—military or commercial.
+ Working knowledge with obtaining the appropriate export licenses or exemptions / Determine if a license is required or if an exemption/exception can be utilized.
+ License determination and application preparation; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and office productivity tools.
+ Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a U.S. Passport valid for at least two years beyond the start date.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience supporting U.S. military vehicle platforms in an OCONUS environment; Willingness and flexibility to travel to and operate within challenging environments.
+ Experience working with maintenance documentation systems and diagnostic software tools; Familiarity with lifecycle management, ECP tracking, and field logistics coordination.
+ Experience maintaining a variety of tactical and support equipment including Material Handling Equipment, cranes, aircraft tugs, wreckers, field support equipment, and aviation ground support carts; Knowledge of generator sets, including inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of diesel-powered tactical and commercial generators.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current/active Secret Clearance.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
+ Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
+ Must be able to work in high-noise environments.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs and small parts.
+ Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
