Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
In this role, you drive the strategic development of Leo's fiber vendor management program. You will be responsible for determining the metrics, developing mechanisms to collect data across stakeholder groups and with vendors, design of scorecards, coordinating vendor reviews, and follow-up of actions from reviews. Leo moves at a rapid pace and hyper scale, so you must build process that support the needs of today as well as for the future.
A day in the life
- working with design and operations teams to understand metrics related to the fiber network infrastructure
- working with regional business development teams to escalate issues and suggest potential design improvements
- working with fiber vendors from around the globe to understand cause of outages and poor network performance
- developing and managing SLA credit mechanism for cost recovery
- Willing to travel 20% of the time.
