As a Senior Facility Manager, you will lead and oversee critical facility operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. You will drive adherence to JLL's operational excellence standards and the client's operational requirements, establish and monitor key performance indicators specific to the operational environment, and conduct strategic facility assessments to proactively address maintenance needs. This leadership role involves managing various operational functions including work order management for specialized equipment, coordination of services, energy efficiency initiatives for large-scale operations, and comprehensive budget oversight.
WHAT YOU'LL DOLead facility management operations for the client's assigned portfolio, ensure client satisfaction through delivery of specialized Facility Management services, and drive programs that ensure operational continuity and excellenceEstablish, monitor, and exceed site KPIs specific to operational requirements, oversee SLA performance monthly with focus on critical systems uptime, and ensure all operations comply with Master Services Agreement and the client's operational standardsLead comprehensive facility assessments including production support areas, administrative buildings, and infrastructure systems; develop strategic plans to address deficiencies and minimize operational impactOversee facility services including: operational briefing coordination, conference room management, food services oversight, parking management for shift workers, badging systems, and visitor management protocols for site accessLead energy management programs tailored to high-consumption operations to maximize efficiency and reduce environmental impact, driving sustainability initiativesDevelop and implement EHS management systems compliant with industry standards, lead safety culture initiatives including the client's safety requirements, and ensure compliance with Alberta regulations, environmental standards, and facility codesDrive facility-specific cost savings initiatives while maintaining operational integrity, lead operational and capital budget management for the facilities, and provide executive-level reporting for operationsLead sourcing strategy for specialized equipment and services, direct supplier evaluations for harsh weather conditions and operational environments, and oversee supplier performance management with focus on safety, reliability, and regulatory complianceWHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceMinimum of 5+ years in facility management, oil & gas operations, or heavy operational environment with leadership experienceAdvanced understanding of building systems (HVAC for extreme climates, electrical distribution, steam/heating systems, water treatment)Comprehensive knowledge of Alberta OH&S regulations and safety protocolsProven leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level stakeholders and diverse workforceAbility to work effectively in challenging weather conditions (-40°C to +30°C)Advanced proficiency in maintenance management systems and budget management toolsWHAT YOU BRING (PREFERRED)Professional designation (FMP, SFP, or similar)Extensive experience in remote/camp operations and shift work environmentsExperience with CMMS platforms and advanced analyticsProject management certification (PMP) an assetWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUJoin an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estateDeep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your workA supportive, caring and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-beingLocation:
