We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Job Summary: 

The Senior Facility Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the new kitting facility in Vilvoorde. This role involves assisting in the management of hard services, cleaning, waste management, and small catering vendors. The ideal candidate will have a background in facilities management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects effectively. This position reports directly to the Facility Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing and managing all aspects of hard services, including maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).Coordinate and supervise cleaning services to ensure the facility meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Support the development and implementation of waste management strategies to ensure efficient and environmentally friendly disposal of waste materials.Manage relationships with small catering vendors, ensuring quality service and compliance with company standards.Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or operational issues.Assist in developing and maintaining facility management policies and procedures.Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks.Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Provide assistance during client audits and ensure compliance with the SOP’sProvide support to the facilities team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Strong team collaboration abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
