**The Role**
The Facilities Manager supports owned, managed, and franchised hotels across the Americas to ensure facilities are maintained in compliance with Hyatt standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Facilities, this position combines technical expertise with administrative coordination to drive operational excellence, consistency, and efficiency across hotel facilities and regional programs.
**Responsibilities**
•Provide guidance and oversight to hotel engineering and facilities teams to ensure compliance with Hyatt standards, preventive maintenance programs, and regulatory requirements.
•Conduct property assessments and audits focused on life safety, asset management, and operational performance.
•Analyze facility data, KPIs, and project outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, cost efficiency, and sustainability gains.
•Support hotel teams with issue resolution, technical consultation, and performance follow-up.
•Review and monitor energy, water, and waste metrics; assist in achieving corporate environmental and cost-reduction targets.
•Manage vendor documentation and service level agreements (SLAs).
•Serve as the administrative hub for regional facilities programs — maintaining documentation, policy updates, and communication cascades to hotel and regional teams.
•Maintain corporate facilities dashboards; compile monthly and quarterly compliance and project reports.
•Track mandatory program completions, training, and regulatory deadlines; maintain digital compliance tools and templates.
•Coordinate talent program records, certifications, and reporting; prepare materials for talent reviews and succession planning.
•Support capital planning, review, and tracking of facility projects and business reviews.
•Partner cross-functionally to implement continuous improvement and special initiatives across Engineering, Operations, and Sustainability teams.
•Travel for on-site support, audits, and training (estimated 60%, may be higher).
**Qualifications:**
**Experience Required:**
•Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Experience Preferred:**
•Familiarity with life safety systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems.
•Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CMMS platforms (e.g., HotSOS).
•Proven project management and vendor management experience.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
•Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and build effective relationships across all organizational levels.

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $135,000.00. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
