Senior Facilities Executive

Strategic Leadership

The role involves developing and implementing soft services strategies aligned with organizational objectives, managing budgets and vendor relationships, and ensuring service delivery meets quality standards and compliance requirements. This includes establishing key performance indicators and continuously improving service delivery processes.

Service Portfolio Management

Core soft services under their purview include cleaning and janitorial services, catering and food services, Indoor plants management, managing space request, pantry services, transport operations and grounds maintenance, waste management and recycling, pest control, and mail and courier services. They ensure these services integrate seamlessly to create positive workplace experiences.

Vendor and Contract Management

The executive manages relationships with multiple service providers, negotiates contracts and service level agreements, monitors vendor performance against established metrics, and handles contract renewals and procurement processes. This requires strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills.

Team Leadership

They lead facility management teams, coordinate between different service providers, manage staff training and development, and ensure clear communication channels across all stakeholders. This includes both direct employees and contractor oversight.

Compliance and Risk Management

The role ensures all soft services comply with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and corporate policies. They conduct regular audits, manage insurance and liability issues, and maintain emergency response procedures.

Financial Oversight

Budget planning and management for soft services operations, cost optimization initiatives, invoice processing and approval, and regular financial reporting to senior management form key financial responsibilities.

Client and Stakeholder Relations

They interface with internal clients to understand service needs, handle escalations and service complaints, participate in client meetings and reviews, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all soft services.
