What this job involves:
This position serves as Senior Facilities Engineer responsible for providing advanced engineering support in greenhouse or facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering while achieving 100% uptime and customer service level agreement (SLA) compliance performance goals. You will provide engineering support for development of complex utility/electrical/mechanical switching scripts and procedures including Method of Procedures (MOPs), Emergency Operations Procedures (EOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Change Management processes while applying technical knowledge and understanding of horticultural environments, including Greenhouse Facilities, production sites, HVAC, uninterruptable power supplies, greenhouse watering and conditioning, and associated infrastructure. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by implementing and coordinating Preventative Maintenance Program as directed by Engineering Manager while reviewing engineering design and providing operational support associated with these technical areas in highly complex environments, and maintaining JLL's reputation for excellence in corporate real estate services through seamless senior facilities engineering coordination and best-in-class performance of greenhouse facilities.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Provide engineering support for development of complex utility/electrical/mechanical switching scripts and procedures including Method of Procedures (MOPs), Emergency Operations Procedures (EOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Change Management processesApply technical knowledge and understanding of horticultural environments, including Greenhouse Facilities, production sites, HVAC, uninterruptable power supplies, greenhouse watering and conditioning, and associated infrastructureImplement and coordinate Preventative Maintenance Program as directed by Engineering Manager while reviewing engineering design and providing operational support in highly complex environmentsThink strategically and successfully articulate and communicate effective vision for best-in-class performance of greenhouse facilitiesSolve technical problems and deal with variety of options in varying situations using advanced analytical and quantitative skillsEnsure all work management processes, programs, and requirements are well understood and followedEnsure all personnel, vendors, and contractors fully understand requirement for strict adherence to critical awareness processes, programs, and protocolsApply knowledge of energy management and sustainability programs, processes, procedures, and metrics while assisting with regulatory inspections Environmental audits and OSHA inspectionsWork with Computerized Maintenance and Management Systems (CMMS), Argus Greenhouse Controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Building Control Systems including Direct Digital Control (DDC)Make effective presentations on relevant topics to employees and/or management while following Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for buildings under responsibility.Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent or technical training/degree3 years (+) experience in greenhouse or facilities operations, maintenance, and engineeringUniversal CFC's license or ability to obtain one within 90 daysPerformance goals to achieve 100% uptime and customer service level agreement (SLA) complianceCapability to provide engineering support for development of complex utility/electrical/mechanical switching scripts and proceduresTechnical knowledge and understanding of horticultural environments, including Greenhouse Facilities, production sites, HVAC, uninterruptable power supplies, greenhouse watering and conditioning, and associated infrastructureUnderstanding of implementing and coordinating Preventative Maintenance Program as directed by Engineering ManagerAbility to review engineering design and provide operational support associated with these technical areas in highly complex environmentsProficient in computer applications and software such as MS Office and emailAbility to think strategically and successfully articulate and communicate effective vision for best-in-class performance of greenhouse facilitiesCapability to solve technical problems and deal with variety of options in varying situations with advanced analytical and quantitative skillsUnderstanding of ensuring all work management processes, programs, and requirements are well understood and followed.Preferred Qualifications:

Estimated compensation for this position:
79,000.00 – 114,700.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
