In your role as Senior Expert Supply Chain Management Applications (m/f/d) you will provide analytical and solution-oriented support in the conceptualization, design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of complex SAP-based supply chain planning systems, with a strong focus on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

Your assignment:

Analyze complex supply chain planning and business problems to be solved with SAP IBP and integrated SAP ERP systems. Identify gaps, evaluate solution alternatives, and translate business requirements into functional and technical system specifications for SAP IBP (e.g. Demand Planning, S&OP, Response & Supply).Configure SAP IBP system settings and planning models; plan and execute unit, integration, operational qualification (OQ), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet defined business and quality requirements.Act as a subject matter expert for SAP IBP and related SAP SCM solutions.Work closely with global business units to enhance, standardize, and optimize end-to-end supply chain planning processes through system-supported solutions.Contribute to solution and process design by creating detailed functional specifications, configuration documentation, and process descriptions, covering data models, planning logic, interfaces, and end-to-end process flows.Participate in international template and rollout projects for SAP IBP, including:Establishing rollout and deployment conceptsSupporting solution build, testing, and validation activitiesExecuting, fine-tuning, and documenting processes during the project lifecycleSupporting handover to operations and providing post go-live support as requiredAnalysing and documenting functional requirements, business processes, and data flows; determining priorities and dependencies for enhancements and project deliverablesLead development activities for assigned sub-projects, including:Gathering and validating requirements through structured workshops and stakeholder interviewsDrafting, reviewing, and obtaining approval for business and functional requirement documentsProviding guidance for system integration testing and data validationSupporting quality assurance, functional, and end-to-end testing activitiesProviding regular project status updates to management and stakeholdersWork on problems of diverse and complex scope requiring in-depth analysis of planning data, system behaviour, and process impacts. Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods, tools, and solutions.Assist with SAP IBP-related projects, enhancements, and support activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Informatics / Economics / Business Informatics. Advanced Degree desirableMinimum 5 – 8 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in operational Logistic, Supply Chain Management or projects of suchMinimum 3-5 years of experience in usage of SAP SCM-related modules such as APO, IBP, SD, MM, PP and SAP ERPPractical experience in material requirements calculation and analysisExperience in working on SAP template rollout projects in an international environmentFunctional Knowledge in Supply Chain Planning Processes (e.g. Demand Planning, S&OP, Response&Suppy, Inventory Optimization )Project Management SkillsKnowledge in Agile Project Management Methods such as SCRUMEnd-to-end process understanding across integrated SAP landscapesSound knowledge of SAP IBP modules and their integration with SAP ERP systems such as S/4 HanaExperience with SAP CI/DS, CI and RTIFluent in English (written and spoken); More languages beneficial, especially Spanish or GermanWillingness to travel
