**Position:** Senior Executive – Sector Sales
**Position Snapshot:**
+ Place of work: On field, Sri Lanka
+ Area: Field sales
**Position Summary:**
Responsible for being a single point of contact for all Sales Operations within the Sector and delivering agreed monthly, quarterly and annual objectives/ targets while focusing on growth, development and long-term sustainable customer relationships.
**A day in the life of the role:**
+ Ensure achievement of agreed volume and value targets, growth objectives and Sales KPIs for the Sector.
+ Effectively manage and motivate the Distributor Sales Team to ensure achievement of Sector objectives.
+ Responsible for the execution of channel/ category plans.
+ Responsible for effective distributor management for buffer stocks, cash collection and distributor P&L.
+ Maintain market hygiene in Sector and effectively control market returns within the norm.
+ Drive merchandising excellence by ensuring visibility and accessibility as per trade standards and effectively manage merchandising resources.
+ Monitor the market competition and opportunities. Optimize the route to market and channel sales strategies to challenge competition.
+ Responsible for the coaching and development of Sector DSRs and Merchandisers.
**What will make you successful:**
+ **Education:** A degree in Marketing or Business Management or equivalent.
+ **Expected experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in Field Sales, Distributor or Retail operations preferably attached to a FMCG or MNC
+ **Language skills:** Be fluent in Tamil and English. Fluency in Sinhala would be advantageous.
+ **Other skills:** Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be open to challenges and demonstrate out of the box thinking, ability to coach talent and drive performance
