Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our team as Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts. The role mainly involves managing audit processes, treasury and SEZ compliance activities for India operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective coordination with auditors and bankers, and timely execution of statutory, tax and regulatory deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Treasury & Banking Operations
. Prepare and monitor daily cash forecasts and bank balances across multiple accounts.
. Coordinate with corporate treasury for fund requests and intercompany settlements.
. Ensure compliance with RBI requirements pertaining to realisation and payment of interco receivables and payables
. Monitor RBI reports on EDPMS and IRM to avoid outstanding items appearing in the report
. Manage intercompany receipt/payment documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
. Liaise with bankers for routine transactions, documentation, and account-related queries.
. Support cash flow planning and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
2. Audit & Financial Reporting
. Review and update financial statements in compliance with Ind AS.
. Coordinate statutory and tax audits by liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of all audit requirements.
. Prepare and maintain intercompany transaction schedules and reconciliations.
. Review schedules and reconciliations prepared by other teams to ensure correctness
. Support other FBS teams across different geographies, whenever required, in completing audit reviews within defined timelines
3. SEZ Compliance & Support Activities
. Prepare and file monthly SEZ reports and returns as per SEZ guidelines.
. Collection of documents required for DTA (Domestic Tariff Area) endorsement activities for goods and services.
. Manage SEZ formalities related to scrap sales, including approval from the Assessing Officer.
. Act as a backup for SEZ team activities to ensure uninterrupted compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
. Education: CA
. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounts, with exposure to audits and treasury operations
. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards/IFRS
. Proficiency in MS Excel
. Understanding of SEZ regulations and compliance procedures will be an added advantage
