Role Overview
The Senior Executive – Space Planning is responsible for optimizing workplace layouts, managing seating strategies, and supporting efficient utilization of office space. This role ensures alignment with business needs, employee experience, and workplace standards while driving data-backed planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Space Planning & Design
• Develop and maintain workspace layouts, seating plans, and zoning strategies
• Execute stack plans, block planning, and space allocation
• Coordinate with design/fit-out teams for new layouts and reconfigurations
• Ensure compliance with workplace standards, ergonomics, and safety norms

Occupancy & Utilization Management
• Track and analyze occupancy, seat utilization, and vacancy trends
• Recommend optimization strategies (hot desking, consolidation, expansion)
• Maintain accurate seating data and floor plans

Move Management
• Plan and execute internal moves, churns, and seating changes
• Coordinate with IT, Admin, and Business teams for seamless transitions
• Ensure minimal disruption to operations

Data & Reporting
• Maintain dashboards and reports on space utilization and capacity
• Use tools like AutoCAD, Excel, CAFM/IWMS systems
• Provide insights for leadership on space efficiency

Stakeholder Management
• Partner with HR, business units, and leadership for workforce planning
• Understand headcount forecasts and align space requirements
• Act as SPOC for space-related queries

Compliance & Governance
• Ensure adherence to workplace policies and space standards
• Support audits and documentation related to space planning

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Architecture / Planning / Engineering preferred)
• 3–6 years of experience in space planning / workplace / facilities
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD / Revit (preferred)
• Advanced Excel
• CAFM / IWMS tools (e.g., Archibus, Planon, etc.)
