Position Overview:The Sr. Executive – Pricing will be responsible for executing competitive pricing requests, maintaining accurate pricing data, and ensuring quick turnaround times to support the sales and business development teams. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused, profitable pricing solutions while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Job Purpose:To drive strategic pricing initiatives that enhance revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness across domestic and international logistics services. The role involves data-driven analysis, pricing model development, and cross-functional collaboration to support sales and commercial teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Pricing Execution & SupportDevelop and implement pricing models for various service lines (Air, Ground, Express, International).Support pricing decisions with robust financial and market analysis.Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to inform strategy.Sales EnablementPartner with Sales teams to provide pricing support for key customer proposals and RFPs.Ensure pricing aligns with customer segmentation and value propositions.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze pricing performance, margin trends, and customer profitability.Generate actionable insights from pricing data to support business decisions.Maintain pricing dashboards and tools for internal stakeholders.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure pricing policies comply with internal controls and external regulations.Support audits and documentation for pricing decisions.Initiative ManagementContribute to BIA initiatives and cost optimization projects.Lead or support pricing-related projects such as FS mechanism changes, OSP/OWP compliance, and digital pricing tools (e.g., VOLTA).Qualifications & Experience:
EducationEssential: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related fieldPreferred: MBA in Logistics, Pricing, or Supply Chain Management.Experience3–5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics, preferably in logistics or transportation.Exposure to pricing tools and processes in the logistics industry preferred.Skills & Capabilities:
Technical SkillsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and pricing tools.Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or similar CRM/ERP systems is a plusBehavioural CompetenciesStrategic thinking and commercial acumenStrong communication and stakeholder managementAttention to detail and data accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCollaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.Key Performance Indicators:
