Senior Events Management Specialist
The Senior Specialist, Global Events will be responsible for supporting the strategic development and flawless execution of both global customer visits at Edwards’ headquarters in Irvine, CA, and a wide range of internal, physician-facing, and select special events. This includes key internal engagements such as the National Sales Meeting, Global Marketing Summit, Global Marketing Leadership Meeting, and other enterprise-wide programs that advance organizational alignment, HCP engagement, and education. In this role, you will partner closely with the Global Events team, physicians, and cross-functional internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class experiences. This coordination and execution will include agenda and content development, stakeholder coordination, travel and logistics management, and seamless on-site execution. This project manager will initiate, plan, execute, control, and manage all aspects of projects to ensure ultimate project success within THV Marketing. **About This Role:** The Senior Specialist, Global Events will be responsible for supporting the strategic development and flawless execution of both global customer visits at Edwards’ headquarters in Irvine, CA, and a wide range of internal and select special events. This position reports to the Manager of Global Events. **How you'll make an impact:** · Support and execute THV Global on-site physician visits, internal, and special events. · Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and deliver professional experiences to physicians and sales representatives for physician visits. · Organize and execute high-quality physician visits, tours, and design consultant visits in coordination with key partners globally, adhering to compliance rules and regulations. · Coordinate and execute pre-event planning activities: (i.e. agenda creation, travel logistics, physician contracts, welcome dinners, etc.) ensuring clear cross-functional and executive communication. · Manage post-event activities (i.e. management of payments and invoicing, dissemination of feedback, and integration of feedback into future planning.) · Support planning and execution of enterprise-wide internal events such as the National Sales Meeting, Global Marketing Summit, Global Marketing Leadership Meeting, and other corporate gatherings. · Collaborate with internal and external partners to shape event concepts, themes, and program design that reflect brand strategy and company values. · Demonstrate a high-level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills · Demonstrate a commitment to conduct all activities with honesty, integrity, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. · Provide excellent service to internal and external customers across multiple teams **What you'll need (Required):** Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of previous related work experience required or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria **What else we look for (Preferred)** · Prior experience with executive level event planning within healthcare industry preferred. · Excellent professional demeanor when interacting with healthcare professionals and internal executives. · Strong computer skills including usage of Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems · Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills · Experience with project management · Substantial knowledge and understanding of Edwards brand standards · Substantial knowledge of and strict adherence to AdvaMed code of ethics & healthcare provider expense policies · Substantial knowledge of business systems (e.g., CVENT, ECLM (Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management), Concur, Travel Request Processing, Salesforce) · Excellent problem-solving skills · Attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing objectives in a fast-paced environment · Knowledge of and adherence to EW policies and procedures · Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, HCP, and external suppliers and vendors · Provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner · Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families. For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $81,000 to $116,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
