Senior Event Sales Manager

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and driving commercial success? Hilton is seeking a dynamic Senior Event Sales Manager to lead our Event Sales team and elevate our conference, events, and food & beverage offerings to market-leading status.

About the Role

As our Senior Event Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind promoting, selling, and managing our Conference, Events and F&B outlets from initial enquiry to contract. You’ll build strong client relationships, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and support the development of a high-performing team. Your goal? To make Hilton Events the market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and inspire the Event Sales team in line with Hilton’s global Promise and values.

Recruit, train, and mentor team members, conducting regular performance reviews.

Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Attend and contribute to key commercial and hotel meetings.

Sales & Commercial Focus

Respond to all event enquiries promptly and professionally.

Maximise revenue through strategic upselling and effective diary management.

Build lasting client relationships to drive repeat business.

Conduct site inspections and client entertainment to showcase hotel offerings.

Maintain accurate records in Delphi and other systems.

Customer Experience & Communication

Deliver outstanding customer service across all touchpoints.

Ensure seamless handovers to the Events Management team.

Collaborate with internal departments to meet client expectations.

Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends.

Reporting & Strategy

Assist in producing daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Support key team projects and contribute to strategic planning.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in event sales or hospitality management.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Commercial acumen and a passion for sales.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Familiarity with Delphi, OnQ or similar event booking systems.
