Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Senior Environmental Program Manager** to be based in **New York, NY.** Key Responsibilities: + Work directly with the client’s senior environmental manager to manage daily environmental activities on several large projects. + Develop environmental agenda for Design-Build kick-off meetings. Support planning analysis using program planning procedures. + Develop environmental scope of work in conjunction with program Planning/Design and Procurement teams. + Develop and oversee the strategies of planning tasks, writing proposals, preparing scopes of work and fee estimates, making presentations to clients, conducting and managing technical work, developing reports or outputs for technical work and presenting the results to the client and program team. + Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the field Construction Manager teams overseeing and supporting the environmental work being performed by the Design Builder. + Supervise and mentor group level staff and interact with client stakeholders, program team members, including field staff. + Maintain reports, dashboards and on occasion provide presentations. **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements: + BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Must have Senior Leadership and Management Experience + Experience working in Design and Construction for Environmental work related to housing or large commercial/institutional projects or programs. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Requirements: + NY/ NJ Agency experience + 12 Years related experience + Master’s degree + Has worked for and/or with Environment Firms + Experience in the Environmental, Design and Construction Industry working on large scale housing programs and projects. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
