Job Title: Senior Engineering Technician
Job Description

The R&D Electrical Engineering Technician II will contribute to the design and development of innovative electronic products aimed at treating peripheral and heart valve diseases. This role supports multiple cross-functional development teams managing projects from concept through to commercialization. The primary focus will be on electronic circuit prototyping, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as building and maintaining lab tools and equipment.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and build test fixtures.Solder components to boards and troubleshoot at the component level.Build, test, and evaluate prototype electronic hardware and systems.Utilize electrical tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.Read schematics for board layouts.Assist engineers in qualifying components used for the boards.Essential SkillsExperience with electronic circuit prototyping and soldering.Ability to build and evaluate prototype electronic hardware.Proficiency in using electrical tools like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.Skill in reading schematics for board layouts.2+ years of relevant experience as a technician working on electrical or electronic systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate degree in Engineering Technology required.Certified Engineering Technician (CET) accreditation is a plus.Experience in testing is beneficial, with training provided if necessary.Work Environment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art facility in Santa Clara. The role requires working on-site from Monday to Friday with a flexible start time between 7 AM and 9 AM, completing an 8-hour shift. The opportunity to work in a leading company in catheter technology, specifically in electromechanical design, enhances the attractiveness of this role.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
