Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Roads to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will lead and oversee various road infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while adhering to local regulations and international best practices.

Manage and supervise road engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetsDevelop and review technical designs, specifications, and calculations for road infrastructure projectsConduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local Abu Dhabi regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project executionAnalyze survey data and engineering submittals to identify and resolve potential issues in road design and constructionImplement innovative solutions and sustainable practices in road engineering projectsDevelop and maintain quality control measures to uphold project standards and ensure long-term durability of road infrastructurePrepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions for senior management and clientsMentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the teamStay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in road engineering and infrastructure development

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in road construction supervision and managementSpecialized knowledge in road engineering, infrastructure design, and sustainable construction practicesStrong technical expertise in civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on road infrastructureProficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents related to road projectsExperience with CAD software, project management tools, and road design softwareExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex road engineering challengesStrong leadership abilities with proven experience in team management and mentoring junior engineersIn-depth knowledge of quality management systems and international construction standards applicable to road infrastructureFamiliarity with local construction regulations and practices in Abu Dhabi and the United Arab EmiratesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environmentDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to adapt to changing project requirements and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExperience with sustainable road design and construction practices, including environmentally friendly materials and techniques
