Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Roads to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex road infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Develop and oversee the design of road infrastructure projects, including highways, intersections, and urban streetsConduct detailed site investigations and analyze data to inform design decisionsUtilize advanced road design software to create comprehensive engineering plans and specificationsPerform traffic analysis and capacity studies to optimize road network performanceCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and contractorsEnsure compliance with local and international road design standards, with a focus on UAE regulationsManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersPrepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and project documentationParticipate in client meetings and present design concepts and solutionsStay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and sustainable practices in road engineering

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certificationMinimum 8-10 years of experience in road engineering and design, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projectsAdvanced proficiency in road design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStationStrong skills in traffic analysis tools and project managementIn-depth knowledge of road construction techniques, materials, and transportation planning principlesFamiliarity with environmental impact assessments for road projectsExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with UAE road design standards and regulationsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior staffWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
