Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Define project scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets. Prepare detailed statements of work and work breakdown structures, securing alignment and approvals from both internal teams and external clients.
Risk Management: Proactively assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate residual risks related to time and cost. Maintain a continuous feedback loop with stakeholders to ensure transparency and adaptability.
Financial Oversight: Manage project costs to ensure profitability. Oversee client billings and payments, ensuring timely invoicing and diligent follow-up on outstanding accounts. Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices to keep external partners engaged and paid.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, adapting project plans as needed based on data-driven insights and performance metrics. Work with team members and stakeholders to manage schedule and requirement changes efficiently.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all project scopes are reviewed by safety managers and that safety plans are implemented. Respond promptly to audit findings and drive corrective actions.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Apply your judgment and technical expertise in engineering or construction techniques. Mentor and guide drafters, designers, engineers, and craft workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Resource & Team Management: Develop and implement resource plans. Staff projects appropriately, including managing subcontractors and vendors, and ensure that procurement processes are followed. Provide clear direction, assign tasks, and coach project team members.
Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong client relationships. Ensure client satisfaction through quality, on-time project delivery, and by managing expectations and communications.
Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing project status reviews, identify opportunities for efficiency, and implement best practices for project and team success.
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as required to ensure project and organizational goals are met.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification required (must be obtained within 12 months of hire or promotion to the Approved Project Manager list).
Domestic and/or international travel may be necessary; frequency depends on specific position duties, responsibilities, workload, and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

**Skills and Abilities:**
Extensive experience applying project management methodology, including budget development, project planning, control and assurance techniques, and proficiency with project management software.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts and practices as they relate to project oversight.
In-depth knowledge of project goals, drivers, strategies, risks, and opportunities, enabling effective project execution and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly to various audiences.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, as well as external vendors and stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with team members and clients, fostering collaboration and building relationships.
Proven ability to manage high volumes of requests and coordinate with multiple individuals simultaneously, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Advanced personal computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, supporting documentation, analysis, and reporting tasks.
Exceptional organizational skills to balance competing priorities and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
