Technically administer all aspects of the refinery Distributed Control System (DCS), Data Historians (PHD/PI), and real-time Environmental/COCL calculations. This position ensures that Operations maintains view and control of the process units in order to meet Safety, Environmental, Economic, and Mechanical Integrity goals. It also provides Process Control support for all Capital Projects ensuring technical compatibility, to include configuration and commissioning of the projects.
* Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Control Engineering, or other related field of study.
* 5+ years of experience in industrial process control, DCS systems, SIS systems, Field Instrumentation, Microsoft Operating Systems, Dell server grade PC’s and Workstations, Cisco Ethernet switching networks.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, installation, startup and ongoing support of Honeywell Experion PKS, TDC-3000, and TDC-2000 DCS systems and Honeywell PHD/ OSI PI data historians..
* Good oral and written communication skills. Be able to communicate technical responses at both the management and operator level.
* Possess strong analytical skills to be able to think through a problem, evaluate all of the facts, and reach a satisfactory solution.
* Well organized with the ability to multi-task, work alone or in a team environment.
* Excellent customer support and personal relation skills.
* Self-motivated and goal oriented.

* Experion - 9 Experion Communities, 11 Server Clusters, 56 Operator Stations, 96 FTE Switches, 20 Firewalls, 64 C300 Controllers, 6 PCN Printers, 17,000 Control Loops, 70,000+ Process Indicators, 3,100+ Process/SIS Graphics.
* Misc PCN Devices - 93 L-3/3.5 application servers consisting of: Engineering Workstations, APC, VMWare Hosts, DOC4000, Field Device Manager, Time Synch, Digital Video Monitor, Analyzer Interface, Domain Controllers, Alarm Management, Backup & Restore, File Servers, Data Archivers, Event Archivers, PHD Collectors/Shadow Server, PI Buffer Node, Inventory Management, McAfee ePO, MS WSUS, etc.

* Support approximately 25 Capital Projects per year per individual.
