Practical experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on mass and batch production of mechanical components, with a solid understanding of various manufacturing processes.
Proficient in operation of CNC machinery, including Turning Centers and Milling Centers etc
Capable of interpreting technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and GD&T to facilitate accurate cost estimation
Work Experience
Skilled in calculating process times and providing detailed cost breakdowns for multiple manufacturing processes, including both primary and secondary operations.
Competent in identifying and quantifying cost drivers, such as production time, material costs, and labor expenses.
Mandatory experience in Excel-based Should Costing, with additional familiarity with Should Costing tools considered advantageous.
Proficient in Excel for data analysis, including the use of pivot tables and formula-driven methodologies for summarizing data.
Knowledgeable about various raw material families, their specifications, and market availability.
