**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer - Mechanical to join our team in Duba, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will lead the design and development of mechanical engineering systems for various infrastructure projects, including transportation and building facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering efficient and cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' needs.
+ Design and verify mechanical systems for diverse projects, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and drainage
+ Develop equipment specifications and handle procurement processes for mechanical systems
+ Prepare detailed engineering calculations, design drawings, and technical reports
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines
+ Optimize designs through value engineering to provide the most efficient solutions
+ Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support
+ Conduct internal and external project audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
+ Identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
+ Liaise directly with clients to address technical queries and ensure project success
+ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in mechanical engineering solutions
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ 8-12 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in transportation infrastructure (e.g., Metro, MRT/LRT, Rail/Road tunnels) and building projects
+ Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for mechanical system design
+ Extensive knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and drainage systems
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations and engineering tests
+ Experience in gathering and correlating engineering data to inform design decisions
+ Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
+ Proven track record of innovative thinking and creative problem-solving in engineering solutions
+ Experience with procurement processes for mechanical equipment
+ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
+ Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of mechanical engineering
