Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer - Marine to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing complex marine engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and innovation in marine systems and structures. + Lead the design, development, and implementation of marine engineering projects, including ship systems, offshore structures, and port facilities + Conduct advanced engineering analyses and calculations for marine structures and systems + Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports for marine projects + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including naval architects, structural engineers, and environmental specialists + Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and industry standards + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers + Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively + Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine projects + Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in marine engineering + Participate in client meetings and present technical solutions + Contribute to the development of innovative marine engineering solutions + Oversee quality assurance procedures for marine engineering designs and implementations **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred + Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine engineering, with a focus on complex marine systems and structures + Professional engineering registration (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent) + Extensive knowledge of marine systems, equipment, and offshore structures + Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and classification society rules + Proficiency in marine engineering software and CAD tools + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Strong project management and leadership abilities + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills + Experience with risk assessment and mitigation in marine environments + Familiarity with sustainability practices in marine engineering + Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment + Willingness to travel for on-site inspections and client meetings **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
