The In-Line Inspection business delivers pipeline Inspection services to operators of oil & gas pipelines around the globe.

Reporting to the ILI Engineering Director, the Senior Engineering Manager – is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists, to support & enhance existing products and to develop new technology and products to enhance PPS’s leading position in the Global market.

Essential Responsibilities:

Research, technology and new product development, for a specific set of ILI platform, including:Development of long term, Multi-Generational Technology PlansResearch & technology development activitiesAll new product development activitiesTo ensure the ongoing reliable performance of existing products and services, including:All aspects of performance including reporting specification and mechanical and electronic & reliabilityManaging the allocation of sustaining engineering resources to best meet business needsTo lead a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineersEngagement with ILI leadership & external stakeholders on ILI technology and product developmentAs part of the engineering leadership team, lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the engineering function

Qualifications/Requirements:

Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM disciplineDeep domain knowledge of In-line inspection technologiesExtensive product development management experience & a track record of delivery of new product development projectsExperience leading multi-disciplinary technical team of scientists and engineersExcellent communication skills, with experience presenting at executive management levelExcellent technical comprehension and an ability to analyze and solve problemsExperienced in influencing and gaining solutions in a cross-functional / matrix environment
