The Client is a preferred provider of solar engineering services for utility-scale solar systems. Owing to the continued growth and high demand for its services, the Pune office intends to recruit an Energy Analyst within its Advisory team.

Position Title:    Senior Engineer - Energy Analysis
Reporting to:    Analysis Team Lead/ Associate Manager

Qualification:    BE/ BTech in Electrical/Mechanical with a Master’s Degree in Energy/Data Analysis
Experience Level:    Total experience of 5 Years in RE Analysis
 

Responsibility:
Responsible for conducting performance analysis of solar PV plants in operation, which would essentially include:
    Analysis and development of meteorological files for use in simulation software.
    Analysis of energy production data from PV projects, including comparison of operating vs. modelled data, downtime analyses.
    Statistical Analysis of Long-Term Energy Yields.
    Energy and Capacity optimization of Hybrid Projects and Integration with Storage.
    Scientific Computing, Simulation and Optimization in Renewable Energy Systems: Solar, Wind and BESS Systems.
    Modelling, Simulation and Optimization of PV, BESS and Windfarms.
    Detailed techno-commercial assessment of cells, batteries, and racks.
    Detailed techno-commercial assessment of PV modules, inverters, and converters.
    Analyses of data recorded in data loggers and SCADA.
    Qualitative and quantitative data analysis using Python and Excel.
    Performance Analysis of Individual Components – Arrays, Inverters, Converters, Cells, Battery Racks and Energy Meter Data. 
    Technology and Design Optimisation of PV Plants using Analytical Methods.
    Development of tools and scripts for automation of various tasks using python, VBA etc.
    Develop/ review initial PV system concept of plant layout which shall essentially include technology assessment, tilt-pitch optimization, DC overload analysis.
    Support due diligence solar PV project which shall include identification of risks and advise corrective measures to optimize performance of solar PV plant.
    Review performance ratio test procedures for plant acceptance proposed by the test party and evaluate the performance of solar projects.
    Maintain awareness of new product technology and communicate pertinent developments with colleagues.
    Support Client’s solar PV business development activities.
    Site visits in India and abroad.
