This includes the definition of requirements, aligning with all stakeholders. Additionally, the Senior Engineer should be involved in technical design including more detailed object-oriented design. The Lead Engineer responsible for the quality of the platform and the on time availability of needed releases for product developments and updates. "The role will be involved in defining and implementing the modules which will be suitable for the overall XC product based on Linux Platform, design & development of embedded projects encompassing HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), OS adoptors, BSP (Board support packages), middleware libraries, awareness of industrial protocols, cybersecurity feature implementation and to the development of a shared, reusable, secure, scalable Software. - Development and maintenance of XC products based on Linux - Adapt and aling Linux Platform change - Innersource the product changes to Linux platform - Own the Product firmware/OS releases - Implementing technical requirements, based Systen requirments - Ensure the needed quality of the releases, do final release approval - Project reporting to Stakeholders, product architect - Support the development team on technical questions - Cooperation with Eaton global platfom teams - Align with Firmware Manager on needed ressources, infrastructure - Leverage Embedded Linux softeware development practices for quality on deliverables, performing risk assements etc. - Proficient with different elements of hardware and firmware development like technology, tools and practices, and have capabilities in quickly learning and developing a large set of communication protocol technologies, languages C, C++, RUST, React(plus) software development. - Advanced Hardware/Firmware Debugging Skills" **Qualifications:** B.E. (6-8 Years) in EnTC 6-8 Years **Skills:** "- Software skills in embedded systems (Embedded Linux environment) : design, and development - Experience with working into an Agile team / environment (Scrum) - Proven hands-on experience with electronics devices development, product development processes and validation - Knowledge of cybersecurity and data encryption - Knowledge of software design patterns - Knowledge of HW embedded electronics (MPU/MCU) is a plus - Experience with coaching and guiding software teams on a technical and functional level - Experience with distributed teams on multiple international locations - Experience in address Cyber-security requirements, fix the issues reported by static code analysis tools like Coverity. -Experience in different Linux platform , Yocto is must - Programming in C, C++, Rust(Optional) - Experience in Frontend , Qt for native and React for Web would be plus - Experience in Backend, Dbus, systemd, MQTT - Experience in BSP, kernel development" "- Professional proficiency in English, German skills would a nice to have - Structured working - Strong communication and presentation skills - Problem Solving Skills - High learning skills"
