As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play an essential role in the growth of our Energy Equipment business. You'll carry accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. You will work with sales/commercial/application engineers to identify new opportunities/assist customers/lead proposal preparation and technical negotiation/define project budget up to handoff.
As a Senior Engineer - Centrifugal Compressor Product Line, you will be responsible for:
· Providing support to Commercial Operations/Sales team. Working closely with AE in charge of driver equipment/system integration/technical proposal/relevant activities for APAC products.
· Analyzing Require for Quotation. Defining offer strategy and preparing proposals involving different departments. Defining scope of supply/complying to customer’s technical specifications.
· Leading technical proposal negotiation, attending technical meeting to align technical offering. Defining project budget and being responsible for cost sheets.
· Reviewing technical proposals and handing off to project management team. Performing relevant company risk management activities at whole proposal cycle.
· Leading opportunity assessment/discussion with stakeholders globally. Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space on how technologies interconnect/contribute to overall strategy.
· Acting as reference point for Centrifugal Compressor Product. Mentoring junior AEs to achieve a certain level. Supporting other region when required.
· Accounting for high quality & accurately technical proposals for Centrifugal Compressor opportunity to sustain profitable & executable orders.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a Bachelor/Master in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering (or other STEM-related major).
· Have 10+ years signification working experience as Engineering role at Oil&Gas or energy segment with solid technical background.
· Have outstanding knowledge and experience with turbo-machinery equipment such as centrifugal compressor (single shaft or integrally gear).
· Have excellent English proficiency (spoken and written), also excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
· Work well with others in a team environment. Available for Domestic and international travel.
· Be flexible in working hours for interactions and meetings with customers and internal functions located globally with different time zones.
· Be a natural, proactive communicator with good customer service skills and have great market and global awareness.
