Senior Engineer Artificial Lift Systems

Airswift is looking for a Senior Engineer Artificial Lift Systems to work on a permanent contract in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, with a drilling services company.
Responsible for the design of artificial assembly equipment (BN, ESP), site optimization and production monitoring, failure analysis and recommendations, working together with the personal field technician to obtain operating parameters, as well as with the production engineering team.
Specialist in Artificial Systems, with extensive knowledge in BEC or ESP systems, Submerged Electrocentrifugal Pump.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of Capex estimates for well and drilling equipment focused on Artificial Production Systems and Surface Facilities.
Presentation of technical advances.
Monthly reports – Indicators.
Service supervision (Contractors).
Monitoring operations to modify production parameters.
Design of the artificial lift system.
Participate in root-cause failure investigations of all unplanned shutdowns to prevent future incidents.
Ensure equipment integrity is maintained by operating systems and processes within safe operating limits and following established procedures.
Verify optimal well operation through production analysis.
Production monitoring and optimization.
Analysis and diagnosis of potential issues.
Evaluation and implementation of new technologies focused on increasing and maintaining production.
Parameters and recommendations for well startup or commissioning.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field field engineering.
Experience in the oil industry, designing various artificial lift systems and well optimization, with knowledge of field operations, both equipment-free and equipment management (RME, RMA, and drilling) with production equipment.
Expertise: Well Operations: Production optimization for various artificial lift systems. Nodal Analysis. Software: Software expertise (Wellflo, PIPESIM, OFM, Prosper)
