Trane is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a talented professional to join our team as a Technical Manager and will be responsible for leading a team that manages aftermarket/service parts data management and product structures within the Team Center(Product Lifecycle Management) systems and PIM system. This role ensures high-quality, accurate, and complete service parts information to support aftermarket operations, including serviceability, parts availability, digital catalogs, and customer support functions.You will bring strong domain expertise in aftermarket/service parts, experience with PLM systems (preferably Teamcenter), and solid technical capabilities to drive process automation and data quality improvements. Experience in the HVAC domain is highly desirable.

Collaborating with global teams, you’ll guide and support PLM and PIM system integration to meet market and business needs and regulatory. You’ll support project execution, mentor team members, and champion process improvements, leveraging your engineering expertise to deliver high-quality results. In this role you will:
· Lead, mentor, and guide team of data stewards and engineers or analysts responsible for aftermarket parts setup,lifecycle maintenance and related analytics to ensure good parts and equipment data to enhance B2C, B2B customer experience.
· Collaborate with global project owners, leaders, and cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product Managers, IT and Supply and logistics team—to ensure exceptional project execution adhering to company processes, and project management principles.
· Ensure achievement of project milestones/deliverables within committed Quality (Q), Delivery (D).
· Steer concept development on parts data management aligned to market needs and sustainability goals.
· Drive creation and release of engineering documentation using PLM tools including parts information and specifications.
· Use data analytics and visualization (e.g., Tableau) for project management reporting and decision making.
· Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering effective teamwork, inclusion and innovation.
· Contribute to process improvement and process automations.
· Work closely with Product Information Management (PIM) teams to maintain consistency across digital catalogs and customer-facing systems.
· Leverage SQL, Python, AI tools, and workflow automation platforms to streamline data processes.
What you will bring:
· BE/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
· 7 to 9 years hands-on experience in Automobile or HVAC product/system design and development, including component selection, system integration, Parts Master Data Management.
· Proven track record of innovation projects on process automation, parts data analytics applying spend and sales information.
· Strong understanding of aftermarket/service parts processes and value chain.
· Expertise in parts taxonomy, nomenclature, classification, and technical attributes.
· Hands-on experience with PLM systems; Teamcenter strongly preferred.
· Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems-Informatica and Salesforce.
· Domain knowledge - Ability to interpret engineering documentation, BOMs, drawings, and product structures.
· Proficiency in SQL for data queries and analysis.
· Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
· Bi Tools for Dashboarding.
· Familiarity with AI-based tools for data validation, classification, or workflow optimization.
· Comfort using workflow automation tools (e.g., Dataiku, Power Automate, Alteryx, or equivalent).
· Experience of working on tools like JIRA & Confluence is added advantage.
· Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
· Strong communication skills—capable of working with global teams and diverse stakeholders.
· Ability to mentor team members, advantageous to have prior people management experience and team leadership responsibilities.
