POSITION SUMMARY
The Should Cost Engineer will be tasked with developing SEER cost models and performing cost analysis to ascertain the actual cost of products. This role involves creating should-cost models for various helicopter Assemblies and sub-assemblies, analyzing engineering designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes to estimate costs. Additionally, the engineer will conduct cost analysis models and prepare detailed cost summary breakdown reports. Incumbent will have to work with a teamof engineers in Bangalore, Mirabel Canada and Fort Worth, Texas, USA to develop SEER cost models and performing cost analysis to ascertain the actual cost of productsfor Bell
products. He/She works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to innovative solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy, in meeting objectives. Incumbent contributes to the completionof specific programs and projects. He/She represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issuesassociated with specific projects. The candidate will need to have good knowledge of Aerospace Materials, Manufacturingprocesses and have good understanding of should costing of aerospace structures/assemblies using sheet metal/machining/composites, good knowledge of aerospace fasteners.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with a team of costing engineers to develop SEER cost models and performing cost analysis to ascertain the actual cost of parts like airframe details and assemblies, electrical harnesses for Bell products.

2. Collaborate with team members from own team, Co-ordinate independently with several cross functional team members
from other teams like Systems, Materials, Manufacturing etc
3. Follow Bell engineering process/work flow for successful completion of work packages
4. Will have to juggle multiple critical priorities and projects concurrently.
5. Occasionally he / she would be expected to guide and mentor others in the team.
6. Ability to analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical
Specifications and Departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.
7. Works through a disciplined approach in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing tasks and projects to
achieve specific goals to specific success criteria without needing any follow up

Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
Stream: Industrial production, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Work Experience (in years): 6-10 years of aircraft costing experience
