Design, develop, and test embedded software per medical device software development life cycle (IEC-62304). Write lower-layer drivers such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN. Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including clinicians, product managers, and system engineers, to further refine and develop embedded software. Work with software testers to design better verification test methods and protocols. Design and develop the code with automation testing as a mindset. Participate in software risk analysis and mitigation. Collaborate in designing and developing fixtures and tools for software test automation. Create high-level and detailed design documentation to support the software requirements. Develop test plans and participate in code reviews. **Requirements:** Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Embedded Software Engineer I-related occupation.
