Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test, and document software solutions
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in established codebases
• Provide advanced technical support for field teams and customer escalations
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on integration and feature development
• Participate in Agile workflow processes
• Conduct and contribute to team code reviews
• Implement and manage code enhancements across multiple related product lines

Qualifications:

Required:

US citizenBachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree7+ years experience embedded OS development, preferably LinuxDemonstrated proficiency writing/modifying the Linux kernel and driversProficient in Bash, Python, and CSolid understanding of fundamental networking concepts (DNS, TCP, UDP, etc.) and history delivering projects with critical foundations in networkingVersed in Git based version control systemsExperience following AGILE development practicesComprehensive understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)Familiarity with different Wi-Fi authentication and encryption standards (WPA2, WPA3, CCMP, TKIP)

Prior history working with OpenWrt and RHELPackaging software in RPMs or other formatsUnderstanding of 802.1x networks and protocolsHistory working with updating remote devices Over-the-AirExperience working with CI/CD pipelines

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
