Senior Electrical Programmer

Job Description

Our client designs and manufactures turnkey electrical control systems and machinery for all types of applications within the industrial and commercial sectors globally. They are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Programmer in the GTA that can bring in value and be a part of their diverse growing team.

 

Position: Senior Electrical Programmer

Permanent position after 3 months of probation

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Payrate: $70,000 to $120,000 (DOE)

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Designs, develops, and maintains electrical control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces). This role involves not only coding and debugging but also leading teams, understanding complex system requirements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. 

 

Senior Electrical Programmer

Experience in the automation & controls industry (4 years minimum) Must have experience programming with CODESYS (4 years minimum) Experience with IEC 61131 programming (preferred) Must have experience programming Beckhoff PLC  Fluent in English Canadian Passport Travel 30% of the time Work from office only (no remote work) High level of computer skills
