Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for large-scale projects in the power sector.

Spearhead the design and development of complex electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution projectsProvide technical leadership in protection and control systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clientsConduct power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analysesDevelop detailed engineering specifications, calculations, and technical reportsOversee project execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyMentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practicesEngage with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on electrical engineering mattersStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in our projectsEnsure all designs meet safety standards and environmental regulations

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systemsProfessional Engineering license or equivalent certification; eligibility for UAE engineering registrationExtensive knowledge of protection and control systems, relay configuration, and substation secondary systemsProven expertise in power system analysis, modeling, and simulationStrong project management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in industry-standard software tools for electrical design and analysis (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, AutoCAD)In-depth understanding of international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE)Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approachOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsExperience working on projects in the Middle East is highly desirableWillingness to obtain necessary work authorization for the UAE, if not already held
