Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for electronic design and development of nuclear instrumentation and measurement systems used for radiation detection and radioisotope identification.

Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering

5-7 years of relevant experience

Experience with FPGA design (board level design and programming)

Proficiency in electronic design and simulation software (e.g., ModelSim)

Experience with digital signal processing implementation

Digital circuit (logic) design experience: Microprocessors, Field Programmable Gate Arrays

Mixed Signal and/or analog circuit design experience

Responsibilities:

FPGA design utilizing Verilog and/or VHDL together with simulation techniques

Conceptualize, design, simulate, implement, and validate low noise electronics using analog, digital, and FPGA design techniques

Execute feasibility studies, prototyping, PCB bring-up, debugging, verification testing, and performance characterization of new designs

Support compliance testing and documentation

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
